  Michelle is a lovely host and was very accommodating when our darling son decided to launch himself from the top bunk - only to realise upon landing that he didn't have adamantium injected bones.

  Great place with everything that we needed. We really liked the communal areas to hang out and cook, eat, read and talk to people. Michelle at reception, and all over the lodge, was super helpful and friendly.

  We stayed here in the first week of July 2017. Absolutely loved it. Went skiing at Selwyn each day with an easy drive back to the lodge, unload clothes into drying room and walk into a beautifully warm lounge room with fire already going. We then were served a delicious 2 course meal each night. Our room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Woke each morning to a cooked breakfast. We packed extra food in case we got hungry but there wasn't any need. We all enjoyed our stay it was a completely relaxing holiday for all of us. We didn't want to leave.

  This lodge was very comfortable and a nice place to retire to after a days skiing. The dinners were hearty and the log heater hot for a relaxing evening in the common room playing board games and chatting to the other families. In the mornings we ate our fill of cereal, toast, eggs and bacon before setting out for the Selwyn slopes with the location one of the closest spots available to the snow fields.
